Tips

Parking - Paid parking is available in Knapsack Reserve or you could park free in the nearby streets.

Footwear - The trail is relatively easy, but sturdy hiking shoes are recommended to ensure comfort and safety on uneven surfaces (can be very slippery at places due to loose rocks).

Weather - Check the weather forecast before heading out. The Blue Mountains weather can be unpredictable, and it’s best to be prepared for sudden changes.

Essentials - Carry plenty of water, sunscreen, anti-bug spray and a hat. Although the hike isn’t excessively long, staying hydrated and protected from the sun is crucial.
